The orange cable car will whisk you to the top in around 3 minutes and you’ll have the chance to take in the breathtaking panoramas of Dubrovnik, the Adriatic Sea and the islands.
To get a real feel for Dubrovnik you need to climb the walls as they will provide you with a bird’s-eye view of all the main landmarks of the Old Town. A walk around the ramparts is a real feast for the eye.
Those with some extra time in Dubrovnik should visit the town of Cavtat. The best way to get there is to take one of the boats from the Old Port. From my point of view Cavtat is one of the loveliest spots on the Riviera.
